The highly anticipated second volume of ‘Cirque Du Mort’ is finally coming to Kickstarter!
The campaign will launch on Tuesday 11th August 2020, at 8am.
If you enjoyed ‘Cirque Du Mort: Volume 1’; or are new to the circus, but enjoy horror stories, Gothic tales and beautiful artwork, then you will love ‘Cirque Du Mort: Volume 2’.
This 80 page book contains 10 brand new stories about 12 characters, each highly illustrated with full page character designs, postcards, playbills and spot illustrations.
You can access the Pre-Launch page on Kickstarter now where you can sign up to be notified by email the moment that the project goes live on Tuesday.
There are a limited amount of ‘Early Bird’ rewards available for early backers, so be sure to set your alarms!
The campaign will act as a pre-order tool for your copy of ‘Cirque Du Mort: Volume 2’ as well as a host of other amazing pledge rewards including exclusive artwork, stickers, postcards, bookmarks sketchcards and original art.
(You do not need to have read Volume 1 in order to appreciate Volume 2 as they include stand-alone short stories)
The Kickstarter will run for 30 days and aims to raise £2,500, which will cover the print cost for the book, costs for the production of all merchandise for the rewards, packaging, and Kickstarter fees.
Kickstarter is an ‘all or nothing’ crowd-funding site, so if the project does not reach the goal, no funds will be taken.
There is a Facebook event group for the launch day, making it even easier to know when the project is live. It will also be featuring fun behind the scenes snippets and previews on the day of launch to get you all excited for the project. You can join here. Please feel free to invite your friends and anyone you might feel would be interested in purchasing this book. The more people who pledge towards this project, and the more funds raised (especially in the first 24 hours) the more likely it will be to get featured on Kickstarter and reach new audiences.

This book has been a labour of love since the first volume came out all the way back in 2015. I have since gone on to work for many publishing companies, sold colouring books worldwide and even returned to university to do a Masters in English. But it’s time to run away to the circus again.
